In 2006, Shrey Sports Founder, 19-year-old Raghav Kohli visited Germany during the Hockey World Cup in Mönchengladbach following his father’s footsteps in the world of Business. His mentor? The founding father of the hockey industry and a renowned sportsman Thomas Kille. Thomas improved the world of hockey equipment tenfold with his brand TK Hockey. Thomas’ brand was already a trail-blazing pioneer in the industry at the time. Raghav had just begun his journey into hockey, learning the engineering techniques / scientific innovation technologies behind composite sticks and sports equipment, helping his father in business. Raghav and Thomas both had the dynamism to revolutionize the game of hockey, with vast skill sets and immense love for the game.
On completion of the trip, Thomas followed his inner instinct to locate great production knowledge and capacity, offering Raghav and the Kohli Sports Group to manufacture hockey sticks for his brand. Grasping this opportunity immediately, Raghav seized this chance to start his hockey journey.
Returning to India, Raghav began researching and learning more about the new ‘composite hockey stick’ technology, which always intrigued Thomas. Even after Thomas departed from his brand, they both continued to share the same bond of friendship that hockey bound them with. With a passion to provide the best products to players worldwide. Raghav extended the boundaries of ‘Shrey’ and soon took charge of the company. He delivered endless technologically advanced products to the company’s supply chain. Within seven years, Shrey’s success skyrocketed in the market and established itself as the world’s No.1 Cricket Helmet brand, successfully disrupting an already established market to reach the pinnacle.
Destiny had both the visionaries meet again, the venue; the beautiful estination of Goa whilst on holiday. Having shared a childhood passion for the sport, working hard on their dreams, and entering the world of Business for the love of mutual sport gave birth to a new aim. When a fresh idea crossed Raghav’s mind as he recalled his days of starting his career with Thomas and asked him, “Why don’t you help me in creating a new Hockey Brand, I wish to start from where we left off”, to which Thomas responded immediately “YES!”

Shrey’s launch steered in 2013, with an adroit mastery of Mr R. C. Kohli, Managing Director of BAS, an eminent name in the manufacturing of cricket helmets globally and Mr Rajan Kohli, Managing Director, TYKA Sports.
Mr Raghav Kohli, Managing Director, Kohli Sports (P) Ltd., is a young, endowed entrepreneur with a skyscraping vision for the company, leading the brand to unbeatable levels on all grounds of its growth. He has to his credit more than 15 years of operational experience into the manufacturing of International Standard Cricket Helmets hence mastering the technique and truism in the fineness required in the product.
We initially commenced with the production of Top quality Cricket Helmets that soon captured the International market and became the most sort after sports gear for Top Players of India and International Cricket Teams.It is an honour to add to the crown of our brand, that the entire South African Cricket Team wore pink helmets manufactured by none other than Shrey, in support of the awareness campaign against breast cancer.
It is worth alluding that Shrey had become the first choice for 60-70% players for the cricket helmets just not because it is promoted, but because it is worth for its promise and performance that rises with each testing phase.With the never ceasing research and development on the product, each year, We have improvised on our skill and skull. We house well-equipped manufacturing units, with the latest machines and trained workforce augmented by the strong parameters of company ethics and legacy.

Koroyd has been developed from aerospace safety research innovated for action sports, which is now being used to protect cricketers. Koroyd has been designed in Monaco and further engineered in Germany.
